Service addresses for company directors

Dear Gurus,

What is the best address we can use for director's service address, the registered address of the company or the residential address of the director/shareholder.
In the current appointment report there are two addresses, one for the registered address, and one for the service address of the director.
I know it is not mandatory to use the residential address but to show HO that the registered address in not the residential address.
Please advise which address is better to use.

What does this even mean ? The addresses must be according to your business premises. No one has said it cannot be a residential address but there are caveats to it like your residential address being kept in the public records or paying business rates, etc.
AGAIN, this is NOT an immigration related question and mostly a business related question that has nothing to do with Tier 1E rules

There is no such mandatory requirement or restriction in the immigration rules
