help for my UK son

Post by Opalie » Sat Dec 02, 2017 1:22 am

I am British, married a American, had a child in the USA. We lived with said child in UK as he is duel national. 6 years ago we moved back to the USA. I am looking to move back to the UK and taking my job with me, having accommodation and also financial means.

My son would like to move back (he is duel) and wants to bring his fiancee with him who is a US citizen. He and she currently lives in the US. They are engaged and have some evidence of their relationship. What is the easiest and best way to do this?

Probably better for your son to get married in the States first. See also A case of tough love.
