We couldn’t book a civil wedding, because I had to be in the country. So we provided the Islamic one.Casa wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2017 10:29 pmCrucial to your application...an Islamic marriage ceremony performed in a Mosque in the UK won't be recognised as legal under British law and therefore won't qualify for a Spouse settlement visa.
Your fiance also needs to submit his last 6 months payslips together with the corresponding bank statements.
Only savings over £16,000 will be considered in the financial calculation.
Your fiance's birth certificate is not required.
How many times have you met in person and did you submit evidence of time spent together?
Have either you or your fiance been married before? If so, did you submit the divorce decree absolute?
You don't mention your passport. Did you submit this with your application?
When you refer to your fiance's parent's 'house contract', is this a rented property? If so, you should have submitted a letter from the landlord agreeing to you living in the property. If the house is mortgaged, the ECO will want to see a copy of the mortgage agreement, or if owned outright, a copy of the property deeds.
Agreed. If they grant a fiancé(e) visa, then you must also get legally married prior to your FLR(M) application.
WE thought we did everything right, bout don’t know anymore. I think I’ll just wait and see. Thank you very much vinny. You da besttttt
