ICT Tier 2 Visa extension

Hi
I am in long term ict tier 2 visa for 2 years which is expiring for me and for my son in February 2018. Now, my company in UK decided to extend that Visa for another 2 years, My query is do i need to travel back to home country for extension or i can extend here in UK? kindly suggest. thank you.

You can extend in the UK.
