Difference in name Spelling

Difference in name Spelling

Hi

My husband is applying for tier 2 general visa.
Post his degree he had added one more letter 'R" in his name .
There is a seal in his passport which says that he was previously known with that name .
His COS has his new name with the additional R but his UK Naric does not.
Will this cause an issue.
