DBS checks on entry clearance

Post by Yayanangai » Sat Dec 09, 2017 9:52 pm

Hello
I first came in uk in 2001 in 2006 I was refused family indefinite leave to remain uk du to conviction driving with no licence and no insurance and I was ask to leave came back on entry clearance with IlR the immigration officer told me entry clearance means you are a new person all your convictions will be deleted so I started and in 2011 I was granted for British citizenship. Now 2017 I applied for a nhs job and when ask if I had a conviction I said because for me I taught that I’m clear because I was granted a indefinite and British now 12 year I have it on my dbs . So I don’t know what to do as they may think I was trying to hide something ! Help please desperate
