Hi Guys,
I need help with my ILR 10-year Long residence application.
My Immigration and Travel History:
1. Student Visa Approved = 13th January 2009 for a January Course Start Date
2. Arrived the UK on 8th February 2009 to commence my studies
3. Could not continue with my studies because my wife, who was diagnosed with Liver problem and was treated and recovering well before I left home, informed me that she was pregnant. The difficulty in having the pregnancy with her Liver problem, made me decide to return home to look after her. I then deferred my admission to September 2009 and left the UK on 26th February 2009.
4. I assisted her until she was delivered of the baby on 11th September 2009 through a cesarean section which was as a result of complication due to her health challenges at the time. Within this period, I made adequate arrangement for a carer before leaving for my studies
5. Returned to the UK on 28th September 2009 and commenced my studies immediately.
My wife and her baby later joined me in July 2010.
My Question:
1. Can this (No.3 above) be reasonable enough for this long and excess absence to be considered compelling or compassionate circumstances enough to be ignored by the Home Office? Because I am considering applying by 11th of January 2019 ( 8th February 2009 to 8th February 2019 = 10 years - 28 days).
2. If yes, can someone suggest the best list of documents sufficient as a proof of my claims, please.
I do appreciate all your time, efforts and help
