Spouse visa : Director limited company - income category query

Hi all, I desperately need a help in make decision to apply my wife visa. I got my ILR in Feb 2016. I was working as director of limited company. Immediately after I got my ILR, I left UK and married in India. I worked there in India for 1.5 years. In this 1.5 years I have no contracting through my limited company. But I took dividends and income in my previous financial year (2016-2017) around £42000 from previous years profit. Now, I am back to UK and working again as a contractor. Now, I got following query.

I have no invoicing in last financial year (2016-2017). But I took £42000 as a salary and dividends. I have all documents required for Cat F. Can I go for spouse visa using this income? Please not that my ct600 is submitted with zero income, since I have not worked.

Pleeease somebody help me.

I think it is best to get professional help but from the sounds of it your company did not make a profit, however, you were continue to be paid as an employee and shareholder of the company.

Accounting wise, I feel your CT600 shouldn't have been zero but instead in the negative showing loss as a loss can be hedged against previous profits.

In short, get help.

Yes.. accounting wise it got loss. But still it never be in negative in my business. Since it is non trading my previous financial year CT600 is submitted with zero income.
