UK spouse extension or EU family permit

Post by prem77 » Wed Dec 13, 2017 5:52 pm

Hi to all,

my wife's UK spouse visa are in due next year so will be applying for a renewal. I've been told she can apply for EU family permit now which cost around £60, compare to UK spouse visa (was £811), now £933 + £500 NHS to complete 5 years for IDL. I am British as well EEA citizen and first time we applied for spouse visa via my British.
(visa was issued for 2 years 9 months outside the UK). Since we are living together in the UK and having a baby which is British. Thanks for advise if we can apply for EU family permit which is cheaper or must stick with expensive UK route.

Regards

Can you explain your circumstances more?

Were you an EEA National excerising treaty rights prior to naturalizing as British citizen?

Does your wife satisfy Regulation 9?
