How long I can work from Indian while holding Tier 2

Hello,

I'm holding T2G visa and working in UK IT company.

We are planing to goto India for a month or so, I would like to know how long I can work from Indian to avoid any tax implication in India.
My employer is OK as far as there is no tax implication.

Google search says that, I'm liable to tax :-
When you are in India for at least 6 months (182 days to be exact) during the financial year
OR
You are in India for 2 months (60 days) for the year in the previous year and have lived for one whole year (365 days) in the last four years.

Can someone please share any link to Official website which states above law?
Also, please share your experience on this.

I am not sure about Tax thing but few things you should be aware of .

• If you are going to work more than 4 weeks your employer has to notify Home office as your working location is changed.

• You should not have more than 180 days outside the UK in any year ,if you're planning to ILR eventually.

• Later on you'll require the letter from the employer for all the absenses.

Just keep those things in mind

Can i go there and take one week off and then work for 25 days. Would I still need to inform home office?

Its your employers responsibility. They should be aware of this.
