Child born in the UK, not yet registered as a citizen elsewhere

Post by tinuraju » Wed Dec 13, 2017 11:07 pm

Hi,
Me and my wife are Indian citizens and our child is born in the UK. My wife received ILR after his birth. He has never been registered at the Indian High Commission. What form should I use for registering him as a British Citizen?

It says on the MN1 form that I should use S3 form if my child is stateless (I believe this is the case as he was never registered as an Indian at the Indian High Commission). However, S3 form asks for last 5 years details so I am totally confused.

Please can you help?
Thanks,
Tinu

MN1 is simpler.
