ILR eligibility Clarification

Post by Samdsoca » Thu Dec 14, 2017 3:25 am

Hi All,

I am looking for help/advice around eligibility for applying for ILR for my spouse.
I have received my British Citizenship in 2015.

My spouse entered UK on 27th July 2013 (Visa issued on 18th July 2013)

She got a tier 1 dependent renewed and its valid only till 12th June 2018.

This means that my spouse does not have visa to apply for ILR 28 days before 5yrs of stay.

Does any one faced such issue and any suggestions/pointers about how they can apply for ILR ?

Also since postal application takes a long time, can launching a postal application help in my situation and if yes, can this be done 6 months in advance.

Thanks
Sam
