Do you actually get a BRP card when you apply for citizenship

Post by gaffarn » Tue Dec 19, 2017 1:20 pm

All guidance says cut up the BRP and send it back within 5 days of the citizenship ceremony but does the home office send you a BRP card when you give BRP finger prints during the citizenship application process or not?

Which BRP card are they talking about? MY ILR is in the passport not on a separate BRP card, if it was on a separate card is it that one they mean?

No BRP - you receive just the certificate of naturalisation at the end of the process.
If you didn't have a BRP card with your ILR then nothing needs returning.
