ILR dependent status when ILR holder changes jobs

Hi,

I have a question. I'm currently on Tier2 General and my wife is a Tier2 dependent whose leave will expire on 28/Aug/2018. I'll soon get an ILR and planning to switch jobs soon after getting the ILR. My question is, assuming I receive my ILR in Jan 2018, and I change jobs in March, if we extended my wife's PBS leave, and then I moved jobs, do we need to re-apply for a Tier2 dependent extension because of the job change? or the sponsor no longer matters once the main applicant gets an ILR?

your wife's visa is not dependent on your sponsor. She can continue on her current visa, and then can extend as PBS dependent until she qualifies for ILR.
