switching tier 2 sponsor from within UK

Hello there,

My current tier 2 contract in running out and visa will expire on 14 Jan 2018. I got a new job offer from another organisation. As time is really tight, I wonder if I can apply for a new tier 2 visa (sponsored by a different sponsor) while staying within UK. Please suggest.

Have they done the RLMT ? Do they unresticted COS?

Yes, they did RLMT and issued me a CoS.

Then what is the problem? You should apply asap. If possible try to see if any Premium appointment available before your tier 2 expiry date. If not then just apply online and post the documents.

Until you get tthe decision your stay will be legal even if you get after 14th Jan 2018. You will not be considrered as overstayer
