Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me with a question about supporting documents for naturalisation.
I understand that EU applicants should include letters from employers to evidence lawful residence for the qualifying period.
One of my former employers, for whom I worked five years ago, provided a letter verifying my employment in 2012. However, this verification letter is dated January 2016. Thus the letter is nearly two years old. (I used this letter to support an application for a PR document.)
For my current naturalisation application, should I request a new letter from this employer, so that the date is more current, or may I use this same letter in support of my application?
As always, I'm grateful for any insight that could be provided.
