Tier 1 Entrepreneur extension delay letter--Advise!

Hi All,

I submitted my Tier 1 (E) extension application on 10th June 2017. By 16th June 2017, I had submitted by biometrics and got letter from UKBA, stating my application is complex and would take more than 8 weeks.

From then till now, I haven't heard back from UKBA and whenever I check my application status on beta version, it stays "awaiting a decision". Recently they removed the beta version as well.

I emailed my MP to get status. They got same reply from UKBA as in the letter that my application is complex and will take time.

I called up UKBA today morning on their helpline and I got this email after my call.

"Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.

Our records show your application has not yet been completed.

We are unable to advise when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once made. Until such time, we are unable to assist further. Should the caseworker require further information and/or documents they will contact you.

We are sorry we cannot be of further assistance at this time.

Yours sincerely,
UK Visas and Immigration"

Could someone please suggest as to what does this exactly mean? Has anyone else got similar response from UKBA? Not sure what should I do next as I have to travel in February and due to visa delays I am not able to travel at all.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Spare a minute and search on this forum. People are waiting for decision since last year. You submitted your application just 6 months ago. Wait for them to get back. Nothing you and I can do except wait.

I have applied last week of April 2017(Team application),I have called UKVI Tuesday(19/12/2017) regarding my application they sent E mail same format which you got.But I got IHS Refund £400.00 on Monday(18/12/2017),it looks strange for me supposed to be 600 or 200.My partner did not get IHS Refund till today.I think UKVI Processed Our application ,that's why I got IHS Refund.

There is no such a thing as UKBA anymore, it is UKVI.
Your application can take several months. You must wait to hear back as suggested numerous time
