Investment through DLA and mandatory requirement

Post by Rockey » Sat Dec 23, 2017 3:24 pm

Hi Everybody
As my extension is nearly due so just wanted to make sure that is there anyone who got extension visa with providing to Home Office ONE MONTH BUSINESS BANK STATEMENT through director loan investment ?

Is it mandatory to send all Business bank statments investment transactions , can i send only specific dates bank transactions rather than sending whole months?

I made investment 10000 from personal account to business natwest bank and rest of investments made into other Lloyds business bank account because i closed first account ..

Thanks in Advance ..your response will highly be appreciated.
Best Regards

The immigration rules and guidance is very clear that you need to provide business statements for your investment transactions.
The recent revision (effective 11 Jan 2018) amended that requirement to specify that you only need bank statements for investment made after 19 November 2015.
So, depends on when you are applying and when your first investment was made.

Hi marcnath,
You means now we need to provide personnel bank statement for the investment trasaction we have made in business account with business bank statments made after November 2015 if we are going apply after 11 January 2018 for our extension as per new rules .

If you are applying after Jan 11 you only need the business bank statement for July 2017 (assuming you invested 45000 in July 2017)

Personal bank statements have never been a requirement. If the business statement has your name then that is sufficient. If it only has your personal account number then the personal statement is need to show that the account number is you personal bank Account

I have done full 50000 investment in July 2017 and did some extra investment of 10000 as well after July 17..
so my query is , can i send to HO only related business bank statement which show only investments?

or is it ok if i send one month statement , dla loan agreement and accountant letter?

And another very important question is , I bought some used equipments for company from another entrepreneur visa holder through his company , can it create problem?
Best Regards

The choices you give are confusing because to me, it is the same thing.

If you have made a full 50K investment in July 2017, then you only need to send 1 month statement - but it has to be the statement for July 2017 (related business bank statement which show only investments).

I can't see why this should be a problem. Maybe you can explain what the concern is.

Thanks for quick reply.. I meant to say i have completed my 50000 investment in July 2017 but on different dates , for example , 5000 in june 2015, 10000 in August 2016 , 7000 in dec 16 , 10000 in feb 17 and final rest of investment done in July 17 , when we add up altogether becomes 50000
Best Regards

Basically, the requirement is that the evidence of your investment should include Business Bank account statements that will show the 50K of investment. So, in your example above, statements for Aug 2016, Dec 16, Feb 17 and July 17 are needed. Additionally June 2015 needed if applying before 11 Jan 20018

No I haven't and if it has happened the person can be considered to be very lucky. There were cases of refusal for not having the name in the submitted bank statement so clearly it is something CW is paying attention to.
