Exit Clearance

Hi Friends,
I am a British Citizen and my son born in India. We didn't applied for Indian Passport. We applied for BRITISH passport for him and we got the BRITISH passport now.

Do I need to apply for EXIT CLEARANCE before travel to UK?

Any other things to be carried before travelling to UK? Please let me know.

I am in this exact same situation and would like to know, what was the outcome? were you permitted to travel?

Yes guys please apply for EXIT CLEARANCE. That is a must document before travelling to UK wiht your kid.

How much is the fees for Exit Clearance ? FRRO office in India? How much time it took?
