Collection of Family member BRP

Post by yylifeintheuk » Wed Dec 27, 2017 7:58 am

Hi all,

Need advice on this, I noticed the vignette only last for 30 days, until 23 Jan 2018, I can enter the UK latest on 22 Jan 2018 right?

Please advice which option is possible.

Can I collect on behalf of my son and wife, we applied for the visa together and approved, their vignette stated partner and child of mine.

1) Can I collect their BRP with their passport if they not come with me? and then few months later I will travel back to home country, they can enter UK with BRP? I am wondering when I enter UK, will the officer stamp on the vignette? If yes, then my wife and son passport will be without the stamp and is it a problem for me to collect BRP at the post office?
2) Any chance a payment to extend the vignette? if it is troublesome then will go for last option (3).
3) We all enter the UK before vignette expired, collect the BRP, and immediately fly back to the home country again (hopefully not this one, because costly on flight ticket), they will join after few months with my in-laws family in the home country.

Thanks.

Not possible as your wife and son will need an entry stamp in order to collect and activate the BRP.
2) Any chance a payment to extend the vignette? if it is troublesome then will go for last option (3). £168 each
3) We all enter the UK before vignette expired, collect the BRP, and immediately fly back to the home country again (hopefully not this one, because costly on flight ticket), they will join after few months with my in-laws family in the home country.

Thanks.

Thanks, so that's mean I need to go for option 2 or 3.

For option 2, 168 pounds each,
1) Do I need to do it when I arrive UK or at Hong Kong here? Is there any link or document I need to download to submit?
2) Do I need to write the reason I am requesting or provide the date they are planning to come? So is it another 30 days on new vignette?

Thanks.
