Spornsorship License

Post by Godwinc46 » Wed Dec 27, 2017 8:16 pm

Hi Everyone:) I have been running an Accounting business in Birmingham for 6 months. Since most of my clients require legal advices I'm planning to start a legal division in my firm for which i need an Accountant with some Law knowledge so that I will be able to do both accounts and law advices for the same client. When i advertised the job vaccany I got only one response and that was from an international student. The only way i can employ him is to sponsor him but i am worried because my company is a newly started one. Could someone please advice me that if I am eligible to apply for a sponsorship license? And other Alternatives.
Thanks

You'd need to advertise again and may be advertise on more sources. Getting license is not easy as peope think.

Thanks:) I will do that. One more question, the areas in Law where i am looking at are Land law, Equity and Trust and Immigration as these are the common Law areas my clients would generally go. My question is what category will this job be will it be an Accountant or a Lawyer?
I don't know what to call this Job vaccany. Does that affect job sponsorship?

Sorry I am not sure about that. In order for getting tier 2 license I'd highly recommend you get some legal assistance fom regulated solicitors

Jobs for the boys eh? Is this 'international student' the same 'cousin from India' from your previous posts?
