Post by randyjan » Mon Jan 01, 2018 12:09 am

Basically I have re applied for my wife spouse visa as First was refused since I have taken a £13k loan will this affect the decision. My last years p60 states £22.5k I asked my solictor he said no but courious is anyone has any experience with this matter, as the £13k paid into my bank was less then 6 Months ago so will be on the statements that I have Summited to home office

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I don't believe so. You must meet the minimum financial requirements for a Spousal Visa, supported with letter of employment, 6 months payslips and your bank statements. Loans or any savings won't come into play (unless that's the route you're going down)

You're earning 22.5k so you're fine with that. Don't worry too much

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.
