Hello Team,
I need your urgent help and guidance on a topic critical to me and affecting mine and family's future plans.
I am an Indian national, and came to UK as a Tier 2 ICT (long term staff) Visa in october 2013. my wife and kids joined me in March 2014. My visa was initially for 3 years and then extended for a further 2 years and is valid till 2018 mid. However now with the relaxation of the salary threshold to apply for a T2 ICT further extension for 4 years (From 155K to 120K) , i should be able to get my visa extended for another 4 years (till 2022).
My specific question to you is that , once my spouse completes her 5 years of stay in the country as on Mar2019 - is she eligible to file for an ILR as she would have been a lawfully staying adult for over 5 years in the country?
I really need to know this since if its allowed we would continue here, and if not then we will have to look at other potential options. Please do advise.
thanks
