Hi All,
My employer is willing to provide the following letter for ILR application. Do you think this meets the criteria of home office? In the letter, it will be written that the employee is still needed for the current job and the employment is continuing for the foreseeable future. However, it does mention that my contract is fixed term with end date being mentioned.
Please see the letter below, what are your thoughts?
I confirm that NAME is employed as a POST TITLE at ABC. NAME commenced employment at ABC on DATE and has a Fixed Term contract which is currently confirmed until DATE. The post is full-time at 35 hours per week.
I confirm that NAME is still needed for the current job and that the employment with the University is continuing for the foreseeable future. The SOC code is 2119 ‘Natural and social science professionals not elsewhere classified’ (for University researchers). The regular salary is currently £XX,XXX per annum and it is not expected to reduce if indefinite leave to remain is granted. This is above the appropriate rate of pay as stated in the Codes of Practice for Tier 2 sponsors.
Thanks
