Urgent: Application Time Frame

Hi,

I need advice on the above. Had applied for the application as it came to light in the spring of 2016 that my parents had not bothered to apply for an application/citzenship upon my arrival to which it has stopped me from being able to "live" or "earn" until my status is "active".

- Had arrived in the UK when I was a minor (4/5yrs old)
- Have been educated in the UK, from primary to secondary level
- Parents never applied for citizenship OR any sort of application

It came to light that I didn't have a status in May 2016 and the following has occured:

- Job had been ceased
- Had to take a Life in the UK test (to which I passed first time owing to my knowledge)
- Had to do as speaking test
- Had filled in the application (with the aid of a solicitor)

Once the application had been sent at the end of July, the following has occurred:

- Payment had been taken 10th Aug
- Biometrics request 23rd Aug
- Biometrics completed 4th Sept
- Health Surcharge Payment made on 10th Dec

Still not heard anything, how can I get this process propagated?

Note: All of these events came a shock to me as I'd arrived in the country as a minor but now have had to put my whole life on a halt.

What are you or solicitor actually applying for? Experts on here may be able to comment if there is enough detail. Health Care Surcharge is not required for Naturalisation (obtaining British citizenship).
