Child's first passport overseas

Hello every one ,
Can any one give me an advice what to do next !im British Citizen and I'm a single parent who conceived my baby by a sperm donor, I went to SriLanka to deliver my baby as I have no family in uk ,
I applied for my child first British passport in 25/10/2017 , I sent more supportive documents on 4/11/2017, I had ID check interview on 01/12/2017 and been told I will receive a response in 4 weeks.
I'm still waiting and it's more than 4 weeks now
I'm in tourist visa in SriLanka and my visa for stay here is expired as well, I cannot extend my visa as I sent my BP enclosed with application, they told if I take my passport back my application will be delayed .
I need to go back to uk and I can't leave my 2 months old daughter here and is any one can give me a advice please
