in need of a birth certificate for swiss goverment

hello everyone,
I need your help!!
My family immigrated to the UK in 1999. In 2006 we were granted IRL and in 2006 we was all naturalised as british citizen. I met my partner who is Swiss 3 years ago and we have a child together. I am having difficulties for the father to acknowledge him in Switzerland as they are asking for my birth certificate. Same thing with us getting married in Switzerland the y want my birth certificate. I have never had one. My family escaped the war in Kosovo and I never had one. I am told I was never even registered in Kosovo when I was born. How can I go around this? Why cant my naturalisation certificate be enough?
Please help, this is causing major stress and holding us back from being together as a family.
