Hi,
I am currently putting together an application for Indefinite leave to remain and had a couple of questions:
I am on the 5 year spouse route and so I arrived in the UK in January 2013 ( on a 2.5 year spouse visa) applied for further leave to remain in June 2015 (2.5 years granted) this visa currently runs out March 2018.
When I applied for my leave to enter the UK I provided an IELTS certificate (General training) with an overall band score of 7.5. The break down being:
Listening 8.5
Reading 7.5
Writing 6.5
Speaking 7.5
The test was sat on 09th February 2012 at the British Council, Upper Hill Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi, Kenya.
The qualification has expired however from what I have been reading on the home office website it seems you can use a B1 qualification if it has expired as long as it is on the list of recognised tests and it has been accepted for another UK immigration application.
My question is - Is it ok to submit this to meet the english language requirement for the ILR application?
Thanks,
