ILR application sent late

Hello everyone..I’m due to for ILR using set o form .My leave expires 07/01/2018.Discretionary .I left it late because of money issues .im on maternity leave and I didn’t have money until yesrterday .I went to my local post office to send it today and the post office was closed. So I have to send it tommo .Tomorrw is 07/01/2018.Does this automatically fall under refusal?because they will receive the form on Monday 08/01 or Tuesday 09/01

I was told you can even post on the day, it should be fine.

No. Its the date of application i.e the date you post the application. You should try next day service and keep receipt

The date of the application is the date of posting. Send via recorded delivery and keep the receipt
