I came to the U.K. through my father’s visa as his dependant. I was 12 and I am 19 now this I have been here for more than 5 years. I would like to gain an ILR and am not sure which set form to apply through. Is it (m) (o) (f) or neither. Please help. Any attempts will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance

When did they get ILR?
How old were you then?
What category of leave do you have now?
More details of the histories may help.

Then you don’t need to do anything now.
ILE is equivalent to ILR. Congratulations!

So after 2021 I’ll still be allowed in the country?

They should consider you as a
Returning resident, if
you exit the UK and
was absent for less than two years and
return for the purpose of settlement.

Ever since I came at the age of 12 I haven’t left the U.K. at all not even for a week. So how does this apply to me?

I thought your question referred to traveling and if you would be allowed in the country.
ILE/ILR may
lapse, if you are absent from the UK for more than 2 continuous years. Don’t worry if you are not traveling.
Do take the time to read the previous
link(s).

Oh apologies for any confusion. I was simply observing if I should be worried for my future in the U.K. since my indefinite leave to enter the U.K. visa is said to expire in may 2021.

From my previous
link(s):
6. ECB9.6 Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE) and Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
Applicants who are granted Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE) at a visa issuing Post should have no time restrictions on their stay in the UK, that is, they can stay indefinitely. ILE carries the same entitlement as ‘Indefinite Leave to Remain’ (ILR) which is issued by the UK Border Agency to those who have already travelled to the UK. Anyone who has ILE does not have to apply for ILR when in the UK.
Although indefinite leave, by definition, will not expire, the ECO is unable to issue a visa to those who meet the criteria for ILE without putting a ‘validity date’ on the visa. In cases of ILE the ‘validity date’ on the visa should match the expiry date on the passport. When the applicant gets a new passport, they can apply to UK Border Agency for a transfer of conditions into their new passport. They do not need to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).

Oh well in that case. I’m so happy you confirmed this as I was about to pay £2300 for ILR. So the expiry date they put is just for show and doesn’t really affect my stay in the U.K.
