life in the uk test.

hi everyone.just a quick one, am due for indefinate leave to remain in spetember but my passport is with the home office based on pervious apllication refused and appeal date is in july.my questions are

1.can i do my life in the uk test without my passport?

2.if yes/no how do o go about it pls.

3.can i apply 28days before which ll be in august as i do not have any current leave at the moment?
