Financial requirement with child

Hello.
I'm trying to get answer to whether or not my child counts towards the financial requirement for my wifes ‘Family of a settled person’ visa.

Im british and my wife is american. Our daughter was born in the US but lives with me in the UK as she is duel citizen by birth.

The immigration gov.uk website states;

You must prove you have extra money if you have children who aren’t:

British citizens
EEA nationals
permanently settled

So does she count as british and settled or not? I'm sorry if this appears obvious but from research i find so many different answers, and obviously it effects the amount of income we require (£3,800 for your first child) if she counts
