PBS/ FLR Maintainence issue

Post by ssharma1 » Mon Jan 08, 2018 2:27 pm

Hello, I wanted some help regarding an upcoming visa extension application for my wife.

I was in the UK following university on a Tier 2 sponsored visa. In 2016 I got married and my wife came here on a Tier2 dependent visa. Mid 2017, I have got ILR and I switched to a new job 3 months back. My wife's visa expires in Feb 2018.

I have 2 options: PBS dependent extension / FLR, my preference being the former.

However, I just realised, during switching to a new job -paying rent apartment deposits, agency fees etc, my minimum balance fell below the 630£ required to 580£, but only for a few days. Ironically, the transaction that got the minimum balance low, was a 100£ transfer to my wife's account. Now, my question is, could we submit both our bank statements for the application to show that the joint funds available during those few days are more than requirement? Her account is separate and not a joint account, hence the doubt.

If not, is the only option to apply for FLR? She has done her masters in commerce from India and currently studying for ACCA here, would that still need the NARIC documentation to prove she conforms to the English language requirements?
