Spouse Visa - documents returned - Two Questions

Hi,

My wife submitted her spouse visa Biometrics mid November and we submitted our documents at VFS from New Dehli on 20 November 2017. On 30 December 2017 my wife received the email that our original documents were ready for collection and she has since picked them up from VFS.

Two Questions:

1) How long should we expect to wait for a decision?
2) Question on our submission. We had a traditional Christian church wedding but as a non-Indian national our legal registry wedding was the day before. We submitted pictures and proof of both long with two certificates - i) the Legal Marriage Act Registry wedding certificate from the day before and ii) the Church certificate of the Christian wedding at the Church (which is laminated - something we never considered at the time but we just came across something that says laminated documents are not accepted). Will this result in the application being refused, given it's just the Christian Wedding Certificate and not the legal marriage certificate? The Legal Registry Wedding Certificate is obviously not laminated.
