Internal promotion with SOC change

Hi there, hope you can help with this question, it is highly appreciated!

My employer is giving me a promotion where my job title changes from Business Development Executive to Business Development Manager. My current SOC is 3542 Business Sales Executive. If they give me the promotion, do they need to apply for a new visa or RLMT? What would be the minimum salary? Is there a better way of doing this? Thank you very much!

Have you confirmed that the SOC code will change? if yes, they the job must be advertised and RLMT carried out. You must also earn the minimum salary for experienced worker. What is the SOC code for Business Development Manager?

Hi there, thank you so much for your reply. The SOC code for Business Development Manager is 3545.

I dont think the company is aware of the visa regulations so far. So they dont know if they need to change the SOC. I believe any change from my current role needs to be reported to the UKVI, is that correct?

Can I get promoted to be a manager and still stay in the same SOC as 3542? Or do they have to change the SOC level as my job title falls into 3545? Even though this is an internal promotion they will still need to advertise the job?
