Spouse application as dependent on ILR

Post by Ameyk20 » Fri Jan 12, 2018 10:42 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm eligible to apply (Tier2 general) for ILR under 5 year 'economy route'. So I guess I should use set "o" form. Along with my application (I guess) I've to apply for my wife as a "dependent".

When I read the guidelines I found following clause

"If you have a spouse or civil partner listed in section 2 of this application form who is applying
at the same time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the
whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and
your spouse."

Since there are NO restrictions for dependent to work, full time, my wife is working full time. But due to nature of her work we are not living in the same house / city. During working week. So all the tenancy agreements/ bills are under my name only. How am I suppose to show " cohabitation"..?

Please suggest way out of this..
1. Can we show indivisual bank statements under same address ?
2. Electoral register card for both..? As an evidance..?
3. Or she can apply in any other category I.e. spouse visa once I'm been offered ILR..?

Please help !!!
