Employee Hours combination query

Post by rajbhanu300 » Sat Jan 13, 2018 4:38 pm

Dear Members/Gurus,

Could you please let me know if a combination of two part-time employees having same job title and running parallel be considered as full time position?I mean if one employee is doing @50 hrs/month and other employee is doing 82hrs/month than can i combine these two employees to make one full time employee with the same job title?I am pre-april applicant initially and want to plan for my ILR.

Thanks in advance.

If you are pre-April 2014 and applying before April 2019, this should work. It should work for post 2014 also.
There are two ways of presenting it in the Job Table.
1) You have it as one job and put both employees in there.
2) Present it as two jobs (Cashier 1 and Cashier 2, for example) and show that the two are to be combined.

Both should work but my preference is for option 2 as I think it is more straightforward for the CW
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Thanks Zimba and Marcnath for your quick responses.

With regard to your explanation Marcnath, do you mean to say i should show two jobs(positions) and then combine the two?So if i have both the employees under the job title of'Sales Assistant' then i should show them as 'SA 1' and 'SA 2'.Is that correct?

Please share your views if anybody have practical experience in combining part time jobs as above.

Thanks '10020132' for your comments.

Sorry, i typed Zimba's name instead of Your's.Looking at your thread it seems your combination is even more complex than mine and hope will get your result soon.So i take 'Marcnath's' advice and split the employees as 1 and 2 to make it easier for case worker.

Thanks again and let us know when you get your ILR.

validity of job creation for students

Post by rajbhanu300 » Wed Jan 24, 2018 4:50 pm

Dear Members/Gurus,

Could somebody let me know if we can consider eligible students who are able to work under job creation requirement.I have a part time employee(17 years old) who is working @12-15hrs a week. Can i consider her for job creation requirement for ILR? Please let me know if someone has successfully extended their visas using similar employees.

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean eligible students ???! You mean non settled students visa holders ?? Then no.
However any settled individuals can work for you lawfully and you can score points

if you apply before April 2019 option 2 works but after that you need to show each part time exists for 12 months each for option 2.
But in my opinion if you apply after 4/2019 with option 1 you need to show the whole full Time job exist for 12 months for example You can have part of 12 months with one full time worker and second part with two part time workers.(pleas correct me if I am wrong)

Thanks Zimba88 for your prompt reply. Yes i am talking about settled(British) students. As they are students, that made me think if it could be any problem while considering them during job creation. But as they are above 16, i think there should be any problem.

Thanks Mohsensari, i am also thinking that way.I am trying to apply before 6th April, but even if i apply after that the 2nd option can still be used.i.e before and after as well and that's what i will be doing if the employees continue for 12 months.
