!!HELP REPORTED LOST THEN FOUND BRP CARD OUTSIDE UK HELP!!

Hi guys -
Im Australian and Im currently in AUS....this must come up all the time...but i fly out tomorrow night and lost my BRP card, reported it Lost and then i found it that same day.

I have already spent 300gbp for a fast track temporary visa to re enter the uk but my appointment is the same day of the flight which means i will miss my flight even with a fast track processing time.

It seems ridiculous to go through the whole process to re apply for a entry visa to the UK when i found my BRP card, although i have reported it lost which technically cancels the card?

-my points of concern are getting on that flight tomorrow night and arriving at the UK with a lost status BRP card.
-being refused entry
-does the canceled BRP card jeopardise my tier 2 VISA?

-has any one been in this situation before?

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
