Bringing children from previous marriage as dependents

Hi All.
I have been here in the UK on Tier 2 visa for more than 3 years and I already have renewed my visa last year for myself, my wife and my daughter. However, I have children from a previous marriage and there is a discussion with my ex-wife t give them up to me. What I need to have a successful application please? I read that I need to proof that I am the sole responsible of them but how can I prove that?

Thank you Vinny. My children actually live with their mother but I still provide the needed financial support for them, I visit them twice a year for 1-2 months, I call them regularly and check on their day-to-day aspects, I managed to improve their school grades solely. Their mother complaint that she is no longer able to take care of them and she is willing to give up their custody to me in court.
If I provided:
- a Court order of the change of the custody.
- a letter from their mother.
- a money transaction history.
- a list of the record of the phone calls made to their phones.
- a proof of a good conditions for them to come live with me.
Will that be enough to have a successful application?
