24 Days not Ack. letter is it normal?

Hi Guys,

I applied my wife visa FLRM extension on 20th Dec, received on 21st December. Till today i have not received my acknowledgement letter. I know due to Christmas holiday the applications take bit long but 24 days are too many for the acknowledgement letter. Although the mail was recorded and i can see the signature on royal mail track and trace but i am still worried.
Is this a normal delay?
Is anyone else waiting?

Also i had received reminder email from UKIV last week to either apply for the visa or prepare to leave and if i have already applied for the visa then is should click on the link, where they ask for the Ref number.

Could someone please advice me.

It could take anything up to 3 months before you receive your acknowledgment letter or biomatrics.
