Join Spouse for Critical Skills Work Permit holder

Hello there,

I have been living in Ireland for 2.5 years. I'm holding a Critical Skills work permit.

My wife has recently applied for a join family visa. I have two questions:

1- She has applied for Visit Friend visa last year and rejected because we were not married at the time. Could this affect the result of Join Family visa?

2- How long it usually takes to receive a decision? On their website it's mentioned that it might take 12 months but my friends didn't have such a experience.
