Solicitor recommended for spousal visa?

Post by hector01 » Tue Jan 16, 2018 9:19 pm

Hi everyone,

a question: I am British/German dual citizen, living in the UK. My wife has a UK Tier 2 visa. Unfortunately she is being made redundant in March and therefore we are looking into a spousal visa.

I have enough income to support us both. We've heard horror stories about spousal visas being rejected. Would you recommend that we have the application done by an immigration lawyer?

Their fees seem very high and I am wondering if we could do the application without them. The paperwork does not look too difficult.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Best wishes,

It's never guaranteed that using a solicitor will result in a successful application. You can do your application yourself and ask any queries here which most of the answered unless a very complicated issue.
