Tier 4 Student visa extension due to repeating one module

Post by mussiD » Wed Jan 17, 2018 11:07 pm

Hi guys,
I failed and repeated one module so I am behind one semester to finish my degree in an allowed time. My visa expires on 31.05.2018 and my studies finish 8th of September 2018. I read the Tier 4 Visa requirements but still in doubt as to how much money I need to show as a maintenance fund. Some people said I have to show 9 months amount of money some said only 4 months. If anyone has been through this which one is correct? And which date is the latest to apply as I need to keep my money 28 days for a bank statement?
Btw I have already paid all of my tuition fees.
Thanks beforehand.

It depends when you are applying. As a university student you have an international student adviser, or even a team of them, whose job is to help students with Tier 4 applications. I strongly advise you get current informed advice from them, not opinions of other applicants, which may be wrong or out of date.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
