Refugee to Permanent Citizen

Hello everyone

I would like to get some advice about moving on from my current refugee status please.

I was granted 5 years leave as a refugee in February 2014, since then I've married and have 2 kids "wife is British".

My leave to remain as a refugee expires February 2019, what I would like to ask is what option to take going forward. What to apply for and do I have to wait until near the end of my refugee status to end before applying.

You have to apply for ILR. Based on your route, this would be a SET(P) form. You have tp This would take 5-6 months to be approved. In this time you will NOT be able to travel. Upon successfully obtaining ILR you can directly apply for BC under section 6.2 (married to BC) using form AN.
