Can you study on a Fiance visa in the UK?

Can you study on a Fiance visa in the UK?

Hi,

I live in the UK and my fiance lives in Malaysia. We want to get married in September in the UK and at the same time he has been accepted to study culinary for 6 months at a school here. We initially thought he can apply for the Fiance visa in the UK whilst he is on his short term study visa, and once he is done studying we will get married but apparently this isn't the case.

I've searched everywhere and no where has said you can't study on the fiance visa, please can anyone advise?
