First of all, Thank you so much in advance for taking an effort in reading this.
I am planning to apply for Citizenship for myself, mum and brother. We have ILR for about 7 years.
We know we are entitled to apply for, but unsure how and what are the procedure?
Is it alright to apply straight through or do we have to go through lawyer? (Can't afford lawyers fees for three of us) You can apply though the Council's NCS for a small fee). They will check your application & documents, take photocopies of your original documents (including your passport) and return the originals while you are with them. Some Councils also offer the JCAP service, which allows you to submit your passport application at the same time as your BC application. The NCS will then submit your application to the Home Office. The date of the NCS appointment is taken as the date of application. No need to pay for a legal advisor as the application is fairly straightforward.
Where can I find the application forms?
Form AN https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... en-form-an
Can I do B2 SELT exam instead of Life in the UK test? No. You need B1 level English from a UKVI approved test provider + The Life in the UK. Hold old are your mother and brother?
