I want to live with my partner in Cork

Post by kevin91 » Sun Jan 21, 2018 12:37 am

Hello everyone,

So I'm from Brazil and I lived in Ireland for almost 2 years as an Erasmus student in Cork. During this period I met my girlfriend (Irish). As my program ended I had to come back to Brazil to finish my graduation in biomedical engineering, however me and my girlfriend are still together in this long distance relationship for 1.5 year now , she came few times to brazil and I went back to ireland few times as well (the last time I had problems with the immigration officer that really frightened but it's okay).

Now I'm about to finish college and I'm planning to move back to Ireland to live with her, the thing is how...
I thought in a few options:

1- Find a job in Ireland here in Brazil -> It's really hard to find a job when you just graduated imagine in a different country
2- Go to an english school or a master/phd -> costs loads of money and I'm still a college student so no money
3- De facto partnership -> read that you've been living with your partner for 1-2 year and we didn't

Does anyone have any suggestion? Or knows someone in a similar situation.

Thanks a lot
