ESOL Entry Level 3 for CEFR B1

Post by SJ3072018 » Mon Jan 22, 2018 8:25 am

Hi,

My wife is applying for FLR (M) extension next month. When she first applied for FLR (M) back in 2015, she used her ESOL Entry Level 3 certificates for English language requirement. She passed these ESOL tests in 2014.
I spent hours reading various forums giving confusing information on this. Some says ESOL is valid only for 2 years and no longer accepted. Some says other way around. The question I have is, can she use the ESOL certificates now when she apply for FLR (M) extension?
Thank you.

ESOL is no longer accepted and your wife will need A2 level English from the UKVI approved list of tests/test providers.
