Hi.
I would really appreciate some advice and or information.

I'm a British citizen. I'm currently in my the 1st year of my BA 4 year sandwich degree in Event Management. I would like to complete my placement year in the US. That is not (or should not be) a problem.

However, my husband is a Jamaican citizen, living in Jamaica. He is currently taking care of our 2 year old daughter. She is a British Citizen.

I have a couple of questions:
1. Would they be able to join me in the US, travelling from Jamaica?
2. Is there a threshold to sponsor them? If so, does anyone have any information on this please?
Presuming they could join me...
3. Would they apply at the same time as me, or would I apply first and they put in their application after mine has been processed?

Thank you in advance for any and all information this wonderful community can offer me regarding this.
