Marriages Visitor Visa

Post by csimmons9 » Mon Jan 22, 2018 11:07 pm

Hi, I am a UK Citizen and I am marrying my girlfriend (American) via the marriage visitor visa in March in the UK.

This visa is valid until August. My question is whether my girlfriend can go home to America and apply for a spousal visa in April, whilst her marriage visitor visa is still valid?

Basically, can she apply for a visa if she already has a different visa?

Yes. Immediately after marriage, she may apply for a spouse visa from the America.
